Thai Prime Minister’s Visit

The then Prime Minister of Thailand HE Abhisit Vejjajiva paid a state visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. He led a delegation that included the Foreign Minister of Thailand, the President of Thai Trade Representative, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, Vice-Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of other senior officials.

The Managing Director and Marketing Head were invited to the Business Meet with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Mr Abhisit Vejjajiva and the accompanying Delegation, and were later asked to be present at the embassy for tea with the visiting delegation. The Business Meet was held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Diwan-I-Am at Hotel Taj Mahal, Mansingh Road, New Delhi. Shri Anand Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India spoke about the importance of trade ties between the two countries.
